This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use this website and the CapeFrame service.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, work email, company name, fleet size and login details.
- Your documents: rate confirmations, bills of lading, proofs of delivery and other files you upload or forward to your company's address, along with the fields read from them and the loads, customers and invoices you create. These can contain the names and contact details of other people.
- Forwarded email: the emails sent to your company's address, including their attachments. If you forward a whole mailbox, this can include unrelated messages, so we recommend forwarding only the emails you need.
- Billing: our payment provider handles your card details. We do not store card numbers.
- First-visit cookie: a cookie named
first_touchthat records the site you came from (the domain only), the first page you visited, campaign tags in the link, your language and the date. It lasts about six months and tells us which pages bring sign-ups. - Technical data: to protect the service from abuse, your IP address is checked by our rate limits and by Cloudflare Turnstile. Our hosting providers may keep short-lived server logs.
- Analytics: if we turn on website analytics, we use a tool that does not set cookies and reports totals rather than individual visitors.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: read your documents, draft loads and invoices, and send what you approve.
- To answer your questions and support your account.
- To understand which pages are useful and bring sign-ups.
- To protect the website and service from abuse.
AI reads your documents to draft the fields. A person on your side confirms the result. We do not use your documents to train AI models.
We send email that the service needs, such as account messages and the invoices you choose to send. We send marketing email only if you agreed to it, and each one includes our details and a way to unsubscribe.
Who handles your information
We use service providers that process information on our behalf:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Railway | Hosting and database |
| Cloudflare | Content delivery, security, bot protection, file storage and receiving email |
| Google (Gemini API) | Reading documents with AI, on a paid plan whose data is not used to improve Google's products |
| Resend | Sending email |
| Stripe | Payments |
| Plausible | Website statistics without cookies, if we turn them on |
Where it is stored
Information is stored and processed in the United States, and it may be processed in other places where our providers operate. It can then be subject to the laws of those places.
How long we keep it
- Documents, loads and invoices: as long as your company account exists, unless you delete them.
- Emails and files that are not relevant documents: the original files are deleted after 90 days. We keep basic details such as the sender, subject, date and type for your reports.
- After you close your company account: we delete your company's data on request and when the account is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]. The person responsible for protecting personal information can be reached at the same address.
